One Heart, Many Hands began in June 1993 as a novel idea, bordering perhaps on the impossible. Why would thousands of Nazarenes gather for a General Assembly in a large city and not do something to impact the lives of the people who live there? Why not use our gifts, talents, and abilities to touch the lives of those who are in need?
 
Since its beginning, One Heart, Many Hands has mobilized thousands of volunteers at General Assembly. This coming General Assembly in June 2009 will be no different. One Heart, Many Hands will partner with thousands of volunteers just like you who begin by simply asking, "What can I do to help?"
